About Me

I write about how federal budget policy affects the economy.
More broadly, I write about computational economics, macroeconomics, and public finance.
I’m currently the Director of the Center for Data Analysis at The Heritage Foundation.
Prior to joining Heritage, I earned a Ph.D. in economics at North Carolina State University, where my dissertation was about the interaction between credit and the business cycle.
