My name is Parker Sheppard. I am a doctoral student in the economics department at North Carolina State University. My research interests include econometrics, monetary policy, forecasting, and financial crises.

Previously, I worked at the Bureau of Economic Analysis assisting with research for the Chief Statistician. I have a Master of Science in mathematics and statistics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and politics from Washington and Lee University. In my spare time, I enjoy rowing and playing tennis. I also dabble in graphic and web design.
